17 – BBQ Prawn

This is quite a special prawn recipe. The prawns should be cooked only until they are barely turning pink. The spice blends you will find is perfect for flavor without taking over the place of the prawn.

Makes 6 Servings

Cooking + Prep Time: 55 minutes

Ingredients: • 4 ½ green chili peppers, chopped finely

• 1 ½ tsp. each of ginger root, grated, chopped garlic, red chili powder and turmeric

• 1 ½ pounds of prawns, king

• Salt, as desired

Instructions:

1. Clean the prawns and devein them. Add salt and turmeric powder. Combine and set the mixture aside.

2. Grind chili powder, ginger, garlic and green chilies together. Add prawns from the previous step. Mix well. Set aside for about a half-hour.
